All forms of music are at least tollerable except Country. Why is it that country music sucks so much? Is it because every song sounds the same? It's probably more than that because a lot of rap and rock songs can sound the same too. Any ideas why country sucks?

Uuummmmmmm, because you think so...? I think all American Idols sound the same and are crap too. But millions of others like it.

It could just be because I live in Northern Maine and we only get two radio stations up here but I rather enjoy most country...not the twangy my wife ran off with my dog stuff but Josh Turner is really good, keg in the closet by Kenny Chesney isn't bad I dunno

I can't move that far into Maine because I would not be able to deal with all country stations. I would have to get Satellite radio or something.

i agree, country just isn't my favorite. maybe because sappy love songs tend to piss me off, but i must say i also hate r&b for that very same reason. I'm w/ Adam on the lunging from the backseat!

Johnny Cash is kick ass... and some of the Hank Williams' stuff, as well as a band called Those Poor Bastards. This country doesn't suck... just most of the popular country that they play on the radio does. By the way, for those of you who haven't heard it Johnny Cash did a great cover of Hurt by NIN. You should check out the video online if you can.

I suppose Johnny Cash has a country sound to his music but I can't consider him country. And yes the cover he did of Hurt is awesome.
